With practice, mindful yoga supports wise attention in all of our daily activities. Open to adults of all ages and all levels of experience. No need to register, just come.

Yoga Nidra Workshop

Common Ground Meditation Center

Sunday: 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm

Yoga means "to connect or unite," and Nidra describes a state of mind calmer than a sleep state. In these workshops we study and practice relaxation techniques that allow us to "let go" into this deep state of stillness. The result is unification and peacefulness in all aspects of our being. The effects of practicing Yoga Nidra can be better sleep, freedom from anxiety, and the ability to simply relax when you want to. The workshop includes instruction and explanation of Yoga Nidra, a short practice of yoga poses, then 45 minutes of lying on the floor and being guided into deep relaxation and Yoga Nidra.

Fall Yoga Retreat with Nancy Boler

Being happy and at peace in this world can take effort and repeated practice. Retreats give us time to build spiritual strength. Our yoga practice can help us align and strengthen the body — our mindfulness meditation practice helps us align and strengthen the mind. As we practice, we naturally realign with our deeper intentions and our wisdom.

During this retreat we will practice yoga, meditation, and pranayama as tools to build a healthy connection to the body, the mind, the heart.

COST:
$425 for double or triple occupancy. $100 deposit will reserve your space.
The Christine Center offers both guest rooms in the main building or lodging in cabins. If you have a preference, let me know when you register.
Cost includes all meals, lodging, and classes. Retreat begins Thursday evening with dinner at 5:30pm and ends on Sunday at noon (after brunch). Transportation is not provided, however I do arrange and encourage carpooling.

Winter Yoga Retreat in Chacala, Mexico

A week-long retreat can provide us with the time and distance to practice what we "know" we need to practice: how to calmly love and take care of ourselves.

This retreat includes study and practice of both the physical alignment that yoga asana offers and the mental alignment that mindfulness meditation offers.

Our daily practice will include morning meditation & yoga class, then an afternoon class of yoga, pranayama, and relaxation.

Mar de Jade is a retreat center hidden away between the tropical jungle and the pristine sandy beach of Chacala, Mexico, 70 miles north of Puerto Vallerta. Along with 2 yoga classes every day there will be ample time for hikes to remote beaches, snorkeling, spa treatments and relaxation.
