In these sessions we practice yoga poses in a way that promotes ease in the mind. We explore physical alignment that results in both physical and mental freedom. In this way, the poses provide an opportunity to consciously cultivate a wholesome, joyful relationship with the body. With practice, mindful yoga supports wise attention in all of our daily activities. Open to adults of all ages and all levels of experience. No need to register, just come.

Restorative Yoga Workshop

Common Ground Meditation Center

Sunday: 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm; August 28

Restorative yoga focuses on relaxing the body in restful postures. In these modifications of classical yoga poses, the muscles remain quiet; the shape and alignment of the pose is determined by props such as blankets or straps. Tension is released through steadiness of breath and awareness. This workshop is appropriate for all ages and levels of yoga practice.

Winter Yoga Retreat at Mar de Jade, Chacala, Mexico

This week long yoga retreat offers a balance of yoga, meditation, relaxation, time on the beach, and delicious meals. Our daily practice will include morning meditation & yoga class, then an afternoon class of yoga, pranayama, and relaxation. Other activities include hiking, walking on the beach, swimming, exploring the nearby village, whale watching, massage, jacuzzi, lounging by the pool.

Mar de Jade is a retreat center hidden away on the beach of Chacala, Mexico, 70 miles north of Puerto Vallerta. Visit their website at www.mardejade.com

Triple Occupancy:
Guest Room $1350   Garden Suite $1475

Double Occupancy:

Single Occupancy:

Note: Guest rooms do not offer a view of the ocean. They do have private baths.
Garden Suites have a view of the ocean and private bath.
Spa rooms do not view the ocean and have a shared bath.
