Mindful Yoga

Common Ground Meditation Center

Friday: 9:30 am – 10:45 am

Mindful Yoga brings together the physical practice of hatha yoga and the awareness practice of mindfulness mediation. We pay attention to what alignment works for our body while noticing how we are relating to the experience of the pose. By doing this, we begin to let go of our self-criticizing, judgmental mind and cultivate a wholesome connection between mind and body. Payment is by donation for all classes offered at Common Ground.

Nancy's Yoga Workshops

Yoga Nidra Workshops Map

Yoga Nidra is the state where the mind and body are awake and alert but relaxed to the level of deep sleep. These workshops include instruction and explanation of Yoga Nidra, a short practice of yoga poses, then 45 minutes of lying on the floor and being guided into deep relaxation and Yoga Nidra.

Please bring 3 blankets and a yoga mat.

This workshop is held on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.

Mindful Yoga Workshops Map

In these workshops, we spend time not only doing yoga poses, but discussing and sharing our experience and understanding of them. We also take time to learn and practice various yogic breathing techniques and end with a long relaxation. Everyone is welcome to attend.

This workshop is held on the last Sunday of the month from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.
