About Nancy Boler
Nancy first experienced yoga in Nepal while serving in the Peace Corps in 1994. She earned her teaching certification at the Kripalu Center in Massachusetts in 2000 and has been teaching yoga since then.
She continued to follow the paths that deepened her understanding of the healing powers of yoga. This included Iyengar yoga asana study, pranayama and yoga philosophy with Yoganand Michael Carrol and Doug Keller.
She merged her practice with vipassana meditation when she found her teacher Mark Nunberg at Common Ground Meditation Center in 2004.
Nancy has recently completed a 2-year Mindfulness Yoga Teacher Training at Spirit Rock Meditation Center and loves blending the worlds of yoga and meditation in her classes and her practice.
She also co-leads the Children’s Program at Common Ground Meditation Center.
Nancy lives in Minneapolis with her husband and 6-year-old daughter.
